If you've not been able to drag yourself away from Starcraft 2 recently, you may have missed some of the gaming news from Comic-Con. Most exciting were some of the surprise announcements from Capcom.

Now before you dismiss yet another music game from your radar, take a closer look. Rock Band 3 brings a number of new ideas to the table in an attempt to truly push the music game genre forward.

Following Microsoft's keynote event, we were expecting few surprises for the Xbox 360 - or I should say their new controller free 'experience', Kinect. Enter legendary game designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi with Child of Eden.

If there's one thing I had in the back of my mind as I enjoyed the incredible Street Fighter 4, it was bring back Marvel Vs Capcom. Ever since the unlikely X-Men Vs Street Fighter hit arcades in 1996, the 'versus' series has written the rule book on how to bring two franchises together.

With the lead up to Black Ops in progress, Activision and Microsoft gave us a bit more of a sneak peak at this years E3 event.

We already know Reach is awesome, right? It's Bungie. It's Halo. Awesome. What we didn't know is that the campaign would send us shooting into the upper atmosphere dogfighting spaceships. AWESOME.
